Beautiful traditional living

We hope you’ll like our house as much as we do. Smack bang in the middle of the village, just 50 yards from the main square, the house is a warren. Casa Flora currently has three rooms for guests, comprising two twin rooms and one double room. Each bedroom has air-conditioning, tea and coffee making facilities and its own bathroom.

A dedicated bike room

Unlike most UK houses, there’s no back door so only the front door provides access. The house is on 4 different levels and we have a dedicated bike room for bike storage. We also have a variety of equipment for bike maintenance if required.

Glorious views

We love the views from our spacious roof terrace. Sit and contemplate the day with a coffee as the sun rises, take a yoga mat up for some post-ride stretching to ready the body for tomorrow’s ride, or enjoy a glass of something chilled whilst taking in the peace and quiet. The only thing to disturb you is the sound of the church bells.

Comfort after the ride...

We’re not a posh hotel, we provide comfortable rooms for people who want to experience life in a Spanish village with cycling thrown in for good measure. You can enjoy the use of the lounge, courtyards or roof terrace to relax after your cycling day is done.

"I had a fantastic cycling trip at BudVelo which proved to be the most perfect setting for 10 days of spectacular cycle training. Early October, weather was spot on, sunny skies, long days, low winds, great temperature.

The accommodation could not be any better for a group of cyclists. Abundance of space, separate bathrooms, bike tools on hand, air-conditioning throughout and much much more. It is located in a small beautiful picturesque village up in the mountains, with stunning views down to the coast. Supermarkets are within walking distance & there is a good selection of local restaurants providing all the food I needed for long days in the saddle!

Turning to the cycling, the roads are super smooth, very quiet, and traffic is really accommodating. From easier days, rolling down to the coast, along & back up, to harder days venturing out deeper into the Andalusian Mountains, there is something for all abilities. All on your doorstep!

For me, the highlight was the variety within the mountains, passing through Zafarraya, Ronda, El Torcal, La Cabra (to name a few). Filled with lots of switchbacks, steep and steady climbs, long and short climbs, each providing a different feel, and a totally different challenge.

I am planning on returning here annually, and would recommend BudVelo to anyone considering a cycling trip for a great mix of enjoyment & training."
